| 2009 Surf Camp |

The camp is an ideal opportunity for you to gain your Bronze Medallion or Surf Rescue Certificate in a short period of time and in the company of other members of a similar age. The minimum age for Bronze Medallion candidates is 15 years and Surf Rescue Certificate candidates must be 13 years of age (by 30th September 2009).
If you wish to compete at carnivals or do rostered or voluntary beach patrols this season you must have your age appropriate award. If you are already 15 or will be by 30th September, you will not be able to compete this season until you have your bronze medallion award and if you are 13 or will be by 30th September, you must have your SRC award by 31st December 2009. The number of participants will be capped due to trainer/student ratios that are required. Enrolment will only take place once the application form is completed and returned along with the course fee. All participants must also be financial for the 2009/10 season. All of our instructors are volunteers and most are taking time off work to enable this camp to go ahead. If any parents are available to assist in preparing lunches or morning & afternoon teas, please contact me so that a roster can be prepared for each day. Any assistance at all will be very much appreciated.
I have attached a brochure that has all of the relevant information, an application and medical detail forms that must be returned by 11th September 2009 with full payment to have your place on the camp confirmed.
